Bryant Defeats Howard 67-61 - Recap
Earl Timberlake scored 19 points leading Bryant to a 67-61 victory over Howard at Chace Athletic Center on Monday.
Bryant got 15 points from Connor Withers and another 9 points from Sherif Gross-Bullock. Sherif Gross-Bullock contributed 5 assists, while Daniel Rivera cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Howard got a 16-point performance from Shy Odom, who was supported by 16 points from Seth Towns. Jelani Williams had 5 assists in a losing cause for Howard, while Seth Towns grabbed 9 rebounds.
Bryant was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Howard had a 39-35 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Bryant takes its act on the road to face Xavier looking for another win. For Howard, they head on the road to face Mount St. Mary's.
