Recap - Nicholls State Defeats Southeastern Louisiana 66-61
Nicholls State grabbed a 66-61 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday, behind a 18-point effort from Diante Smith at David R. Stopher Gym.
Jamal West Jr. had 16 points for Nicholls State and Robert Brown III chipped in with 16 points. Diante Smith had 7 assists for them, while Byron Ireland was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Southeastern Louisiana got a 20-point performance from Nick Caldwell, who was supported by 15 points from Brody Rowbury. Roscoe Eastmond had 11 assists in a losing cause for Southeastern Louisiana, while Roger McFarlane grabbed 12 rebounds.
Nicholls State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
