Minnesota Defeats Washington 68-48 - Recap

The battle between the Lynx and Mystics didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Washington was handed a 68-48 defeat on Tuesday at IMG Academy Gymnasium.

Minnesota won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 160.5.

Sylvia Fowles had 16 points for Minnesota and Crystal Dangerfield chipped in with 12 points. Crystal Dangerfield had 4 assists for the Lynx, while Sylvia Fowles was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Washington got 12 points from Myisha Hines-Allen in a losing cause and another 10 points from Emma Meesseman. Tianna Hawkins contributed 3 assists for the Mystics, while Myisha Hines-Allen had 6 rebounds.

Minnesota led at halftime, 48-27.

Minnesota had a 42-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Aces. The Mystics will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Los Angeles.
