The battle between the Aces and Sky didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago was handed a 103-70 defeat on Friday at Wintrust Arena.
Las Vegas won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 172.0.
Las Vegas got 22 points from Riquna Williams and another 20 points from Kelsey Plum. Kiah Stokes contributed 7 assists, while Kiah Stokes cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
The Sky got a 20-point performance from Candace Parker, who was supported by 18 points from Kahleah Copper. Courtney Vandersloot had 6 assists in a losing cause for Chicago, while Azura Stevens grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Aces hit the break winning 61-39 before taking care of business in the second half.
Las Vegas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-19.
Las Vegas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mercury. The Sky will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Indiana.
