The battle between the Sky and Storm didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Seattle was handed a 102-79 defeat on Tuesday at Wintrust Arena.
The Sky were a -4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 158.0.
Chicago got 23 points from Dana Evans and another 19 points from Marina Mabrey. Dana Evans contributed 8 assists, while Alanna Smith cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
The Storm got a 26-point performance from Jewell Loyd, who was supported by 13 points from Ezi Magbegor. Ezi Magbegor had 5 assists in a losing cause for Seattle, while Jordan Horston grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Sky hit the break winning 50-40 before taking care of business in the second half.
Seattle won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-36.
Next game, Chicago takes its act home to face Las Vegas looking for another win. For Seattle, they head on the road to face Indiana.
