British Columbia Lions vs Montreal Alouettes Recap - Alouettes Win 21-16

Vernon Adams Jr. ran through the British Columbia defense for 2 TDs as Montreal handed the Lions a 21-16 defeat on Friday at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The Alouettes earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -6.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 49.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

William Stanback rushed for 78 yards, while Jeremiah Johnson added 15 yards in the win. DeVier Posey and William Stanback added 59 and 55 receiving yards respectively.

Brandon Rutley rushed for 71 yards for British Columbia, while Mike Reilly added 22 yards. Mike Reilly threw for 230 yards for the Lions, while receivers Bryan Burnham and Duron Carter had 129 and 32 yards respectively.

Montreal was outgained by British Columbia 342-339 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-20 by the Lions.

Montreal lost the time of possession battle 34:33-25:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Montreal heads into a Week 14 battle against the Roughriders. British Columbia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ottawa.
