Calgary Stampeders vs Montreal Alouettes Recap - Alouettes Win 21-17

The Stampeders came up short against the Alouettes in Week 17 action on Saturday, falling 21-17 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Montreal won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 51.0.

William Stanback rushed for 61 yards, while Jeremiah Johnson added 23 yards in the win. Eugene Lewis and Quan Bray added 86 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Don Jackson rushed for 58 yards for Calgary, while Terry Williams added 29 yards. Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 464 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Josh Huff and Hergy Mayala had 149 and 116 yards respectively.

Montreal lost the offensive yardage battle to Calgary 560-298 yards in Saturday's game. Calgary had more first downs as that total ended up 26-18.

Calgary led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:27-27:33 split in that important category.

Montreal looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Blue Bombers. The Stampeders will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Saskatchewan.
