Edmonton Defeats Montreal 32-31 - Recap

Montreal couldn't keep Kai Locksley out of the end zone on Thursday and it cost them a 32-31 loss in Week 6 action against the Elks.

Edmonton was an underdog by +9.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 49.0.

Sherman Badie rushed for 39 yards, while Taylor Cornelius added 20 yards in the win. Kenny Lawler Jr. and Derel Walker added 92 and 71 receiving yards respectively.

Walter Fletcher rushed for 64 yards for Montreal, while Jeshrun Antwi added 11 yards. Trevor Harris threw for 241 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Eugene Lewis and Reggie White Jr. had 78 and 56 yards respectively.

Edmonton lost the offensive yardage battle to Montreal 321-312 yards in Thursday's game. Edmonton had more first downs as that total ended up 27-17.

The time of possession battle favored Edmonton as their offense was on the field for 33:21, longer than the 26:39 of their opponents.

Next game, Edmonton takes its act home to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For Montreal, they head on the road to face Ottawa.
