Toronto Argonauts vs Montreal Alouettes Wrap - Toronto Wins 23-20
The Argonauts grabbed a Week 15 victory over the Alouettes on Friday, winning 23-20 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
The Argonauts earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -6.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 52.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
A.J. Ouellette rushed for 53 yards, while Deonta McMahon added 30 yards in the win. Tommy Nield and Damonte Coxie added 82 and 75 receiving yards respectively.
Walter Fletcher rushed for 29 yards for Montreal, while Cody Fajardo added 19 yards. Cody Fajardo threw for 274 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Tyson Philpot and Tyler Snead had 105 and 63 yards respectively.
Toronto outgained Montreal 379-345 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-19 by the Alouettes.
Montreal led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:22-25:38 split in that important category.
Next game, Toronto takes its act home to face Hamilton looking for another win. For Montreal, they head on the road to face Calgary.
