Tulane Green Wave vs Navy Midshipmen Recap - Midshipmen Win 41-38
Jamale Carothers ran for 154 yards as Navy handled Tulane by a score of 41-38 on Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
The Midshipmen earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -4.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 58.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Jamale Carothers rushed for 154 yards, while Malcolm Perry added 142 yards in the win. Mychal Cooper and Jamale Carothers added 37 and 31 receiving yards respectively.
Cameron Carroll rushed for 71 yards for Tulane, while Tyjae Spears added 60 yards. Justin McMillan threw for 290 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Darnell Mooney and Tyrick James had 112 and 45 yards respectively.
Tulane outgained Navy 477-453 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-21 by the Green Wave.
Navy led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:25-28:35 split in that important category.
Navy looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Connecticut. Tulane will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Tulsa.
