Florida Atlantic Defeats UTSA 24-3 - Recap
The Roadrunners had no answer for Malcolm Davidson on Saturday as the Owls rolled to a 24-3 win at FAU Stadium.
Florida Atlantic won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.0.
Malcolm Davidson rushed for 115 yards, while James Charles added 43 yards in the win. Aaron Young and TJ Chase added 54 and 43 receiving yards respectively.
Frank Harris rushed for 66 yards for UTSA, while Sincere McCormick added 54 yards. Jordan Weeks threw for 17 yards for the Roadrunners, while receivers Joshua Cephus and Tykee Ogle-Kellogg had 63 and 23 yards respectively.
Florida Atlantic outgained UTSA 332-230 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 19-16 by the Owls.
UTSA lost the time of possession battle 32:06-27:54, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
