Tulane Green Wave vs East Carolina Pirates Wrap - Tulane Wins 38-21

Cameron Carroll tore up the turf for 129 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Green Wave to a 38-21 win over the Pirates at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Rahjai Harris rushed for 27 yards for East Carolina, while Keaton Mitchell added 17 yards. Holton Ahlers threw for 351 yards for the Pirates, while receivers Blake Proehl and C.J. Johnson had 182 and 79 yards respectively.

East Carolina was outgained by Tulane 493-386 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-20 by the Green Wave.

East Carolina lost the time of possession battle 30:59-29:01, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Tulane looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Army. East Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track at Cincinnati.
