Recap - Knights Defeat USF 58-46

Dillon Gabriel's 336-yard performance through the air was the key in UCF's 58-46 win over USF on Friday at Raymond James Stadium.

The Knights earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -25.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 70.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Dillon Gabriel completed 22 of 36 pass attempts for 336 yards for the Knights in the win.

Kelley Joiner rushed for 116 yards for USF, while Brian Battie added 102 yards. Jordan McCloud threw for 404 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Bryce Miller and DeVontres Dukes had 121 and 66 yards respectively.

UCF was outgained by USF 646-577 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 38-28 by the Bulls.

The time of possession battle favored USF as their offense was on the field for 33:19, longer than the 26:41 of their opponents.
