Bulls Down The Citadel 27-6 - Match Report

USF cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 27-6 score against The Citadel in Week 2 action at Raymond James Stadium.

The Bulls were a -17.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 52.0.

Kelley Joiner rushed for 87 yards, while Johnny Ford added 71 yards in the win. Bryce Miller and Sincere Brown added 36 and 19 receiving yards respectively.

Brandon Rainey rushed for 65 yards for The Citadel, while Raleigh Webb added 50 yards. Brandon Rainey threw for 84 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Ryan McCarthy and Keefe White had 44 and 40 yards respectively.

USF outgained The Citadel 404-284 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-16 by the Bulls.

USF lost the time of possession battle 32:17-27:43, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

USF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Notre Dame. The Citadel will aim to get back on the winning track at Clemson.
