Cougars Down WKU 41-10 - Match Report
The battle between the Cougars and Hilltoppers didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as WKU was handed a 41-10 defeat on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
BYU was a favorite by -30.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 52.0.
Tyler Allgeier rushed for 95 yards, while Zach Wilson added 35 yards in the win. Dax Milne and Gunner Romney added 67 and 59 receiving yards respectively.
Gaej Walker rushed for 75 yards for WKU, while Jakairi Moses added 37 yards. Tyrrell Pigrome threw for 106 yards for the Hilltoppers, while receivers Xavier Lane and Joshua Simon had 31 and 28 yards respectively.
BYU outgained WKU 410-262 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-17 by the Cougars.
BYU lost the time of possession battle 33:04-26:56, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
BYU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Boise State. WKU will aim to get back on the winning track at Florida Atlantic.
