LA Tech Falls 45-14 to Cougars - Recap
Zach Wilson was good for 325 yards through the air on Friday as the Cougars got past the Bulldogs by a score of 45-14 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
BYU was a favorite by -24.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 61.5.
Zach Wilson completed 24 of 26 pass attempts for 325 yards for the Cougars in the win.
Justin Henderson rushed for 29 yards for LA Tech, while Luke Anthony added 28 yards. Luke Anthony threw for 191 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Smoke Harris and Kyle Maxwell had 82 and 31 yards respectively.
BYU outgained LA Tech 513-313 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-18 by the Cougars.
BYU lost the time of possession battle 30:11-29:49, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, BYU takes its act home to face UTSA looking for another win. For LA Tech, they head home to face UTEP.
