Tigers vs Chippewas Final: 34-24 - Recap

The Chippewas had no answer for Tyler Badie on Saturday as the Tigers rolled to a 34-24 win at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field.

The Tigers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -14.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 59.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Tyler Badie rushed for 203 yards, while Elijah Young added 29 yards in the win. D'ionte Smith and Keke Chism added 69 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Lew Nichols III rushed for 135 yards for Central Michigan, while Marion Lukes added 44 yards. Jacob Sirmon threw for 295 yards for the Chippewas, while receivers JaCorey Sullivan and Dallas Dixon had 102 and 83 yards respectively.

Central Michigan outgained Missouri 475-468 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-26 by the Chippewas.

Central Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:59-28:01 split in that important category.

Missouri heads into a Week 2 battle against Kentucky. Central Michigan, meanwhile, will have their next action against Robert Morris.
