San Jose State Falls 30-7 to Trojans - Recap

San Jose State was unable to slow down Drake London, who produced 144 receiving yards as the Trojans defeated the Spartans 30-7 on Saturday.

USC won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 61.0.

Keaontay Ingram rushed for 86 yards, while Vavae Malepeai added 65 yards in the win. Drake London and Tahj Washington added 144 and 56 receiving yards respectively.

Tyler Nevens rushed for 58 yards for San Jose State, while Nick Nash added 6 yards. Nick Starkel threw for 308 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Isaiah Hamilton and Derrick Deese Jr. had 74 and 63 yards respectively.

San Jose State was outgained by USC 423-375 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-19 by the Trojans.

USC led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:00-28:00 split in that important category.

USC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Stanford. San Jose State will aim to get back on the winning track at Hawaii.
