Washington State Cougars vs Utah Utes Recap - Utes Win 24-13

TJ Pledger tore up the turf for 117 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Utes to a 24-13 win over the Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Utes earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -15.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 53.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

TJ Pledger rushed for 117 yards, while Cameron Rising added 32 yards in the win. Cole Fotheringham and Dalton Kincaid added 33 and 27 receiving yards respectively.

Deon McIntosh rushed for 59 yards for Washington State, while Max Borghi added 42 yards. Jarrett Guarantano threw for 248 yards for the Cougars, while receivers De'zhaun Stribling and Travell Harris had 93 and 49 yards respectively.

Washington State lost the offensive yardage battle to Utah 349-318 yards in Saturday's game. Washington State had more first downs as that total ended up 22-19.

Washington State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:53-23:07 split in that important category.

Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face USC looking for another win. For Washington State, they head on the road to face California.
