Chippewas Down FIU 31-27 - Match Report

Lew Nichols III ran for 152 yards as Central Michigan handled FIU by a score of 31-27 on Saturday at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

Central Michigan did not, however, defeat the Panthers against the spread, which closed at -12.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 55.5.

Central Michigan outgained FIU 599-437 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-18 by the Chippewas.

The time of possession battle favored Central Michigan as their offense was on the field for 33:20, longer than the 26:40 of their opponents.
