Golden Hurricane vs Red Wolves Final: 41-34 - Recap
Davis Brin led the way with 355 passing yards on Saturday as the Golden Hurricane picked up a 41-34 victory over the Red Wolves at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
Tulsa did not, however, defeat the Red Wolves against the spread, which closed at -14.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 64.5.
Davis Brin completed 17 of 25 pass attempts for 355 yards for the Golden Hurricane in the win.
Johnnie Lang Jr. rushed for 27 yards for Arkansas State, while Lincoln Pare added 20 yards. James Blackman threw for 321 yards for the Red Wolves, while receivers Corey Rucker and Dahu Green had 115 and 82 yards respectively.
Arkansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulsa 663-359 yards in Saturday's game. Tulsa had more first downs as that total ended up 26-20.
Tulsa led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:23-25:37 split in that important category.
Next game, Tulsa takes its act home to face Houston looking for another win. For Arkansas State, they head on the road to face Georgia Southern.
