Tulane Falls 52-29 to Pirates - Recap

Keaton Mitchell ran for 222 yards as East Carolina handled Tulane by a score of 52-29 on Saturday at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

The Pirates were a +3.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 65.0.

Keaton Mitchell rushed for 222 yards, while Rahjai Harris added 70 yards in the win. Tyler Snead and Audie Omotosho added 78 and 76 receiving yards respectively.

Cameron Carroll rushed for 80 yards for Tulane, while Ygenio Booker added 23 yards. Michael Pratt threw for 268 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Duece Watts and Cameron Carroll had 79 and 67 yards respectively.

East Carolina outgained Tulane 612-404 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Pirates.

Tulane lost the time of possession battle 34:19-25:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, East Carolina takes its act on the road to face UCF looking for another win. For Tulane, they head home to face Houston.
