Green Wave Fall 31-12 Against Cincinnati - Game Recap
The Bearcats grabbed a Week 9 victory over the Green Wave on Saturday, winning 31-12 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium.
The Bearcats won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -28.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Jerome Ford rushed for 65 yards, while Desmond Ridder added 47 yards in the win. Josh Whyle and Alec Pierce added 79 and 47 receiving yards respectively.
Tyjae Spears rushed for 106 yards for Tulane, while Cameron Carroll added 64 yards. Kai Horton threw for 79 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Jha'Quan Jackson and Tyjae Spears had 34 and 17 yards respectively.
Tulane lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 351-280 yards in Saturday's game. Cincinnati had more first downs as that total ended up 18-17.
Cincinnati lost the time of possession battle 31:48-28:12, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Cincinnati looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Tulsa. Tulane will aim to get back on the winning track at UCF.
