Bulls Fall 29-14 Against East Carolina - Game Recap
The Pirates grabbed a Week 9 victory over the Bulls on Thursday, winning 29-14 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
The Pirates were a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.5.
Rahjai Harris rushed for 100 yards, while Keaton Mitchell added 79 yards in the win. C.J. Johnson and Audie Omotosho added 84 and 54 receiving yards respectively.
Kelley Joiner rushed for 103 yards for USF, while Jaren Mangham added 67 yards. Katravis Marsh threw for 192 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Xavier Weaver and Bryce Miller had 91 and 57 yards respectively.
USF lost the offensive yardage battle to East Carolina 471-391 yards in Thursday's game. East Carolina had more first downs as that total ended up 30-19.
East Carolina led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 38:28-21:32 split in that important category.
Next game, East Carolina takes its act home to face Temple looking for another win. For USF, they head home to face Houston.
