Arizona Wildcats vs Washington Huskies Recap - Huskies Win 49-39
Michael Penix Jr. led the way with 516 passing yards on Saturday as the Huskies picked up a 49-39 victory over the Wildcats at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.
The Huskies earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -14.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 72.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Michael Penix Jr. completed 36 of 44 pass attempts for 516 yards for the Huskies in the win.
Jonah Coleman rushed for 53 yards for Arizona, while Jayden de Laura added 41 yards. Jayden de Laura threw for 400 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Tetairoa McMillan and Dorian Singer had 132 and 99 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Washington as their offense was on the field for 31:15, longer than the 28:45 of their opponents.
Washington heads into a Week 8 battle against California. Arizona, meanwhile, will have their next action against USC.
