Cardinal Down Arizona State 15-14 - Match Report
Tanner McKee was good for 320 yards through the air on Saturday as the Cardinal got past the Sun Devils by a score of 15-14 at Stanford Stadium.
Stanford did not, however, defeat the Sun Devils against the spread, which closed at -3.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 51.5.
Tanner McKee completed 33 of 57 pass attempts for 320 yards for the Cardinal in the win.
Xazavian Valladay rushed for 76 yards for Arizona State, while Emory Jones added 27 yards. Emory Jones threw for 227 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Elijhah Badger and Bryan Thompson had 118 and 55 yards respectively.
Arizona State was outgained by Stanford 398-355 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 28-19 by the Cardinal.
Stanford led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:38-28:22 split in that important category.
Next game, Stanford takes its act on the road to face UCLA looking for another win. For Arizona State, they head on the road to face Colorado.
