Recap - Blue Devils Defeat Temple 30-0

Duke's aerial attack produced 328 yards and the Blue Devils produced a 30-0 victory over Temple on Friday at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

The Blue Devils were a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 51.5.

Riley Leonard completed 24 of 30 pass attempts for 328 yards for the Blue Devils in the win.

Edward Saydee rushed for 16 yards for Temple, while Jakari Norwood added 11 yards. D'Wan Mathis threw for 83 yards for the Owls, while receivers Jose Barbon and Adonicas Sanders had 45 and 39 yards respectively.

Temple lost the offensive yardage battle to Duke 500-179 yards in Friday's game. Duke had more first downs as that total ended up 25-12.

Duke led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:24-24:36 split in that important category.

Duke heads into a Week 2 battle against Northwestern. Temple, meanwhile, will have their next action against Lafayette.
