Recap - Knights Defeat USF 46-39

John Rhys Plumlee scampered through the USF defense for 133 yards as UCF handed the Bulls a 46-39 defeat on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.

The Knights won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -20.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

John Rhys Plumlee rushed for 133 yards, while RJ Harvey added 74 yards in the win. Javon Baker and Ryan O'Keefe added 51 and 43 receiving yards respectively.

Brian Battie rushed for 144 yards for USF, while Byrum Brown added 109 yards. Byrum Brown threw for 140 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Jimmy Horn Jr. and Holden Willis had 50 and 33 yards respectively.

USF lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 547-438 yards in Saturday's game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 27-23.

The time of possession battle favored UCF as their offense was on the field for 30:12, longer than the 29:48 of their opponents.
