Vanderbilt Commodores vs UNLV Rebels Wrap - UNLV Wins 40-37
The Commodores were burned by Ricky White for 165 receiving yards on Saturday as the Rebels picked up a 40-37 win at Allegiant Stadium.
UNLV was the ATS victor, as they covered the +4.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 57.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Jai'Den Thomas rushed for 50 yards, while Jayden Maiava added 29 yards in the win. Ricky White and Jacob De Jesus added 165 and 62 receiving yards respectively.
Patrick Smith rushed for 43 yards for Vanderbilt, while AJ Swann added 22 yards. AJ Swann threw for 296 yards for the Commodores, while receivers London Humphreys and Will Sheppard had 102 and 97 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Vanderbilt as their offense was on the field for 30:45, longer than the 28:35 of their opponents.
Next game, UNLV takes its act on the road to face UTEP looking for another win. For Vanderbilt, they head home to face Kentucky.
