Central Michigan Chippewas vs South Alabama Jaguars Wrap - Central Michigan Wins 34-30

Jesse Prewitt III was good for 142 receiving yards on Saturday as the Chippewas grabbed a 34-30 win over the Jaguars at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

Central Michigan won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +16.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 46.5.

Jase Bauer rushed for 55 yards, while Marion Lukes added 35 yards in the win. Jesse Prewitt III and Marion Lukes added 142 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

La'Damian Webb rushed for 68 yards for South Alabama, while Kentrel Bullock added 65 yards. Carter Bradley threw for 254 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Caullin Lacy and Jamaal Pritchett had 132 and 62 yards respectively.

South Alabama lost the time of possession battle 33:44-26:16, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Central Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Eastern Michigan. South Alabama will aim to get back on the winning track at James Madison.
