Recap - Bulls Defeat Navy 44-30
Byrum Brown was good for 338 yards through the air on Saturday as the Bulls got past the Midshipmen by a score of 44-30 at Jack Stephens Field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
USF was an underdog by +3.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 54.0.
Byrum Brown completed 26 of 34 pass attempts for 338 yards for the Bulls in the win.
Alex Tecza rushed for 82 yards for Navy, while Daba Fofana added 53 yards. Blake Horvath threw for 83 yards for the Midshipmen, while receivers Eli Heidenreich and Brandon Chatman had 68 and 8 yards respectively.
Navy was outgained by USF 435-330 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-11 by the Bulls.
USF lost the time of possession battle 31:08-28:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
USF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against UAB. Navy will aim to get back on the winning track vs. North Texas.
