Northwestern Falls 17-9 to Cornhuskers - Recap

The Cornhuskers were Week 8 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Wildcats by a score of 17-9 at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska was outgained by Northwestern 257-248 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 14-12 by the Cornhuskers.

Northwestern led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:52-29:08 split in that important category.

Next game, Nebraska takes its act home to face Purdue looking for another win. For Northwestern, they head home to face Maryland.
