Recap - Cowboys Defeat Cincinnati 45-13
The Bearcats had no answer for Ollie Gordon II on Saturday as the Cowboys rolled to a 45-13 win at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Oklahoma State was a favorite by -7.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 53.0.
Ollie Gordon II rushed for 271 yards, while Elijah Collins added 34 yards in the win. Leon Johnson III and Rashod Owens added 149 and 45 receiving yards respectively.
Myles Montgomery rushed for 90 yards for Cincinnati, while Corey Kiner added 79 yards. Brady Lichtenberg threw for 48 yards for the Bearcats, while receivers Xzavier Henderson and Braden Smith had 82 and 24 yards respectively.
Cincinnati lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma State 601-442 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma State had more first downs as that total ended up 23-20.
Oklahoma State lost the time of possession battle 30:33-29:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Oklahoma State takes its act home to face Oklahoma looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head home to face UCF.
