Green Wave vs Pirates Final: 13-10 - Recap
East Carolina was unable to contain Makhi Hughes on Saturday and the result was a 13-10 Week 10 loss against the Green Wave.
Tulane won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -17.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 44.5.
Makhi Hughes rushed for 105 yards, while Michael Pratt added 33 yards in the win. Lawrence Keys III and Jha'Quan Jackson added 77 and 48 receiving yards respectively.
Rahjai Harris rushed for 52 yards for East Carolina, while Gerald Green added 14 yards. Alex Flinn threw for 120 yards for the Pirates, while receivers Jaylen Johnson and Jsi Hatfield had 40 and 32 yards respectively.
East Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulane 368-190 yards in Saturday's game. Tulane had more first downs as that total ended up 20-10.
East Carolina lost the time of possession battle 38:12-21:48, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Tulane takes its act home to face Tulsa looking for another win. For East Carolina, they head on the road to face Florida Atlantic.
