Recap - Bearcats Defeat Houston 24-14

Corey Kiner ran for 129 yards as Cincinnati handled Houston by a score of 24-14 on Saturday at TDECU Stadium.

Cincinnati won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.

Corey Kiner rushed for 129 yards, while Myles Montgomery added 36 yards in the win. Braden Smith and Payten Singletary added 69 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

Donovan Smith rushed for 88 yards for Houston, while Parker Jenkins added 50 yards. Donovan Smith threw for 102 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Joseph Manjack IV and Mike O'Laughlin had 22 and 18 yards respectively.

Houston lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 368-241 yards in Saturday's game. Cincinnati had more first downs as that total ended up 22-12.

The time of possession battle favored Cincinnati as their offense was on the field for 36:55, longer than the 23:05 of their opponents.

Cincinnati looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against West Virginia. Houston will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Oklahoma State.
