Recap - Bulls Defeat Temple 27-23

Byrum Brown led the way with 316 passing yards on Saturday as the Bulls picked up a 27-23 victory over the Owls at Raymond James Stadium.

USF did not, however, defeat the Owls against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 70.0.

Byrum Brown completed 18 of 26 pass attempts for 316 yards for the Bulls in the win.

Darvon Hubbard rushed for 48 yards for Temple, while Edward Saydee added 27 yards. E.J. Warner threw for 280 yards for the Owls, while receivers David Martin-Robinson and Edward Saydee had 102 and 45 yards respectively.

Temple was outgained by USF 451-389 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-24 by the Bulls.

Temple lost the time of possession battle 32:09-27:51, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, USF takes its act on the road to face UTSA looking for another win. For Temple, they head on the road to face UAB.
