Fresno State Falls 25-17 to Lobos - Recap

The Bulldogs had no answer for Jacory Croskey-Merritt on Saturday as the Lobos rolled to a 25-17 win at Valley Children's Stadium.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 204 yards, while Andrew Henry added 65 yards in the win. Caleb Medford and Jeremiah Hixon added 122 and 48 receiving yards respectively.

Malik Sherrod rushed for 51 yards for Fresno State, while Logan Fife added 6 yards. Mikey Keene threw for 58 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Jalen Moss and Mac Dalena had 53 and 39 yards respectively.

Fresno State was outgained by New Mexico 528-230 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-13 by the Lobos.

New Mexico led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 40:41-15:34 split in that important category.

New Mexico looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Utah State. Fresno State will aim to get back on the winning track at San Diego State.
