Buffalo Defeats Detroit 28-25 - Recap

The Bills got a 2-TD performance from Josh Allen as Buffalo handed Detroit a 28-25 defeat on Thursday at Ford Field.

The Bills won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -9.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Josh Allen completed 24 of 42 pass attempts for 253 yards and 2 TDs for the Bills in the win.

Jamaal Williams rushed for 66 yards for Detroit, while D'Andre Swift added 19 yards. Jared Goff threw for 240 yards for the Lions, while receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond had 122 and 35 yards respectively.

Detroit lost the offensive yardage battle to Buffalo 401-326 yards in Thursday's game. Buffalo had more first downs as that total ended up 28-22.

The time of possession battle favored Buffalo as their offense was on the field for 31:26, longer than the 28:34 of their opponents.

Next game, Buffalo takes its act on the road to face New England looking for another win. For Detroit, they head home to face Jacksonville.
