Recap - Cardinals Defeat Minnesota 18-17

The Vikings came up short against the Cardinals in Pre-Season Week 3 action on Saturday, falling 18-17 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Cardinals earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -2.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 37.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Corey Clement rushed for 79 yards, while Emari Demercado added 32 yards in the win. Davion Davis and Greg Dortch added 43 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

DeWayne McBride rushed for 37 yards for Minnesota, while Abram Smith added 29 yards. Jaren Hall threw for 178 yards for the Vikings, while receivers Blake Proehl and Jalen Reagor had 45 and 28 yards respectively.

Arizona outgained Minnesota 297-249 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-17 by the Cardinals.

The time of possession battle favored Arizona as their offense was on the field for 33:00, longer than the 27:00 of their opponents.

Arizona looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Commanders. The Vikings will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Tampa Bay.
