Carolina Skates Past Winnipeg 4-2 - Recap

Carolina skated to a 4-2 victory over Winnipeg on Tuesday in NHL action at Canada Life Centre.

Martin Necas, Sebastian Aho, Jaccob Slavin, and Vincent Trocheck each scored for the Hurricanes in the victory. Slavin opened the scoring for Carolina.

Frederik Andersen stopped 16 of 18 Winnipeg shots in the victory.

Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Nikolaj Ehlers scored for the Jets, finding the net behind Frederik Andersen.

Connor Hellebuyck stopped 30 of 34 shots for the Jets, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Carolina went 2-for-3, while the Jets were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Winnipeg lost the shots on goal battle to Carolina by a margin of 34-18.

Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Flames. The Jets will aim to get back on the winning track at Seattle.
