Kings vs Red Wings Final: 5-3 - Recap

Los Angeles earned a 5-3 victory over Detroit behind a 2-goal performance from Phillip Danault on Wednesday at Little Caesars Arena.

Tyler Bertuzzi, Joe Veleno, and Michael Rasmussen scored for the Red Wings, finding the net behind Jonathan Quick.

Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 40 of 43 shots for the Red Wings, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Los Angeles went 0-for-2, while the Red Wings were 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Los Angeles outshot Detroit 45-25 in the game.

Next game, Los Angeles takes its act home to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Philadelphia.
