Winnipeg Skates Past Buffalo 5-2 - Recap

Winnipeg skated to a 5-2 victory over Buffalo on Sunday in NHL action at KeyBank Center.

Vladislav Namestnikov, Sean Monahan, Nino Niederreiter, Morgan Barron, and Josh Morrissey each scored for the Jets in the victory. Niederreiter opened the scoring for Winnipeg.

Buffalo got goals from Eric Robinson, and JJ Peterka in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Buffalo got a 30-stop effort from Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in the loss.

On the power play, Winnipeg went 0-for-2, while the Sabres were 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

Winnipeg outshot Buffalo 35-19 in the game.

Next game, Winnipeg takes its act home to face Seattle looking for another win. For Buffalo, they head on the road to face Toronto.
