Raptors Fall 112-109 Against Washington - Game Recap

Toronto was victimized for 22 points and 13 rebounds by Deni Avdija as the Wizards defeated the Raptors 112-109 in NBA action on Saturday.

Washington did not, however, defeat the Raptors against the spread, which closed at -6.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 232.0.

Corey Kispert had 18 points for Washington and Jordan Poole chipped in with 18 points. Jordan Poole had 12 assists for the Wizards, while Richaun Holmes was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.

Toronto got 31 points from Gary Trent Jr. in a losing cause and another 17 points from Gradey Dick. Kelly Olynyk contributed 10 assists for the Raptors, while Ochai Agbaji had 9 rebounds.

Washington led at halftime, 51-48.

Washington had a 55-42 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Washington takes its act on the road to face Chicago looking for another win. For Toronto, they head home to face Brooklyn.
