Eastern Kentucky Falls 79-67 to USC Upstate - Recap
Eastern Kentucky was burned for 27 points by Everette Hammond on Tuesday as USC Upstate picked up a 79-67 win at G.B. Hodge Center.
USC Upstate got 19 points from Tommy Bruner and another 12 points from Josh Aldrich. Dalvin White contributed 6 assists, while Everette Hammond cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Eastern Kentucky got 17 points from Jomaru Brown in a losing cause and another 14 points from Ty Taylor. Ty Taylor contributed 3 assists for them, while Tre King had 9 rebounds.
USC Upstate was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
USC Upstate won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-36.
Next game, USC Upstate takes its act on the road to face Furman looking for another win. For Eastern Kentucky, they head on the road to face Northern Kentucky.
