UMass Falls 83-80 to Yale - Recap
Yale got 24 points from Azar Swain as they ran past UMass 83-80 on Wednesday at William D. Mullins Center.
Yale did not, however, defeat UMass against the spread, which closed at -6.5 at most sportsbooks.
Yale got 16 points from Jordan Bruner and another 15 points from Paul Atkinson. Eric Monroe contributed 8 assists, while Jordan Bruner cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
UMass got a 26-point performance from Carl Pierre, who was supported by 24 points from Tre Mitchell. Sean East II had 9 assists in a losing cause for UMass, while Tre Mitchell grabbed 9 rebounds.

Yale won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-27.
Next game, Yale takes its act on the road to face Clemson looking for another win. For UMass, they head home to face Maine.
