Northwestern Falls 83-78 to DePaul - Recap

Charlie Moore scored 25 points and chipped in with 10 assists for DePaul on Saturday, leading them to a 83-78 victory over Northwestern at Wintrust Arena.

The match was decisive in favor of DePaul, but bettors saw the game push as the margin of victory was the same as the closing point spread.

Jaylen Butz had 24 points for DePaul and Jalen Coleman-Lands chipped in with 13 points. Charlie Moore had 10 assists for them, while Paul Reed was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

Northwestern got 25 points from Boo Buie in a losing cause and another 21 points from Miller Kopp. Boo Buie contributed 6 assists for them, while Ryan Young had 11 rebounds.

DePaul trailed at halftime, 38-35.

DePaul won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-32.

DePaul looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Seton Hall. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Hartford.
