UMass Minutemen vs Dayton Flyers Recap - Dayton Wins 88-60
UMass was run off the court by Dayton on Saturday as they blasted them 88-60 at University of Dayton Arena.
Dayton was a -19.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Dayton got 16 points from Obi Toppin and another 15 points from Ryan Mikesell. Jalen Crutcher contributed 3 assists, while Ryan Mikesell cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
UMass got 16 points from Tre Mitchell in a losing cause and another 12 points from Carl Pierre. Sean East II contributed 2 assists for them, while Tre Mitchell had 7 rebounds.
Dayton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Dayton had a 38-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Dayton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the VCU. UMass will aim to get back on the winning track at St. Bonaventure.
