Pepperdine Defeats Loyola Marymount 75-67 - Recap

Colbey Ross scored 20 points leading Pepperdine to a 75-67 victory over Loyola Marymount at Firestone Fieldhouse on Thursday.

Pepperdine was the ATS victor, as they covered the -7.0-point spread as a favorite.

Skylar Chavez had 15 points for Pepperdine and Kameron Edwards chipped in with 13 points. Colbey Ross had 8 assists for them, while Kessler Edwards was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Loyola Marymount got 19 points from Erik Johansson in a losing cause and another 14 points from Jordan Bell. Eli Scott contributed 6 assists for them, while Jordan Bell had 13 rebounds.

Pepperdine was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Pepperdine won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-28.

Next game, Pepperdine takes its act home to face St. Mary's looking for another win. For Loyola Marymount, they head on the road to face San Francisco.
