UMass Falls 73-63 to George Mason - Recap
George Mason got 32 points from Javon Greene en route to a 73-63 victory over UMass on Wednesday at EagleBank Arena.
George Mason was a favorite by -6.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Josh Oduro had 11 points for George Mason and Xavier Johnson chipped in with 11 points. Xavier Johnson had 3 assists for them, while AJ Wilson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
UMass got 23 points from Carl Pierre in a losing cause and another 14 points from Tre Mitchell. Sean East II contributed 5 assists for them, while Tre Mitchell had 12 rebounds.
George Mason was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
George Mason won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-29.
Next game, George Mason takes its act on the road to face Davidson looking for another win. For UMass, they head home to face Duquesne.
