Recap - High Point Defeats Campbell 62-57
High Point got a 30-point performance from John-Michael Wright as High Point handed Campbell a 62-57 defeat on Thursday at John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center.
Jamal Wright had 10 points for High Point and Bryant Randleman chipped in with 8 points. Denny Slay II had 4 assists for them, while Emmanuel Izunabor was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Campbell got 12 points from Jordan Whitfield in a losing cause and another 10 points from Cory Gensler. Ja'Cor Nelson contributed 5 assists for them, while Ja'Cor Nelson had 6 rebounds.
High Point was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
High Point won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-26.
High Point heads into a battle against Hampton. Campbell, meanwhile, will have their next action against USC Upstate.
